At Panera in Newark, DE

Howdy!

Writing to you from the lovely Panera Bread on Main Street in Newark, DE. The gang just finished a fantastic day roaming around Maryland and Delaware! We started off at Christopher Matthew’s Christian Book Store in Bel Air, MD. Jennifer and I were running 30 minutes late due to a long overdue (5 years!) reunion with the Trionfo family in Kingsville. Love you Sue, Adam and Bramble!

Next we dropped into the Borders and the Family Christian Store in Newrak, DE. While the Borders was one of our impromptu “drive-bys,” the warm folks at FCS were eager to welcome us. A special shout out to JUSTIN who regularly comments on my blog here–thanks for coming out, bro! Great to meet you in person, and please let me know how you like The Lion Vrie!

Finally tonight, we stopped at Days of Knight game and book store. What a cool store! We got to meet all sorts of interesting people interested in fantasy and fiction. (I even bought a new board game called Thurn & Taxis!).

Tomorrow we head to NYC! And we also have a new addition to the tour: Kayla Batson! Miss Batson is 11 years old and has added much joy to the crew.

We’re pretty tired right now and looking forward to sleep. Thanks for all your prayers on this, the home stretch!

DAY 7 part 1 is now up on the FFT site, YouTube, and on my vod:pod column just to the right…

Are you enjoying the videos? Please comment and let me know!

Blessings!

Christopher… I just thought of something. *swallows hard* Did I spell Vrie correctly on the keychain??

    If I didn’t, I’ll make you a new one.

Christopher, I’m LOVING the vid-clips and have posted many of them on my blog. I can’t imagine how you find time to make them but I thank you tremendously as it helps those of us way out west to feel like we are part of the excitement too. And it helps to know how to pray. Big thanks and big hugs to the whole crew.

  6. Scribe says:

Almost to the end! I’ve been praying that you will all finish strong! It was a blast meeting everyone!

  7. Thanks all! In Brooklyn right now. And sorry we won’t be with you, Roheryn. But thank you for your hospitality to the rest of the crew! And for coming out to our finale. ;) Connie, you did add a “y,” but it’s endearing so don’t worry about it.

Thanks for all the comments, gang! Great to hear from each of you. The big secret as to how “I” churn out the videos so fast?

I have this secret weapon called a “Jenny.”

She is learning to edit, and actually, every video except the very first one is HER WORK.

LOL, I’d been thinking that Jennifer was quite likely in charge of the camera at least! Congrats, Jen–you’ve been doing a great job.

  10. Connie says:

:( I’m sorry Christopher … Did I mention it was after midnight when I made it? Next time I see you I’ll give you one that’s spelled correctly :P

And that’s awesome Jennifer! I love your work!
