Billy Graham was returning to Charlotte after a speaking engagement and when his plane arrived there was a limousine there to transport him to his home.. As he prepared to get into the limo, he stopped and spoke to the driver.

"You know" he said, "I am 87 years old and I have never driven a limousine. Would you mind if I drove it for a while?"

The driver said, "No problem. Have at it." Billy gets into the driver's seat and they head off down the highway. A short distance away sat a rookie State Trooper operating his first speed trap.

The long black limo went by him doing 70 in a 55 mph zone. The trooper pulled out and easily caught the limo and he got out of his patrol car to begin the procedure. The young trooper walked up to the driver's door and when the glass was rolled down, he was surprised to see who was driving.

He immediately excused himself and went back to his car and called his supervisor. He told the supervisor, "I know we are supposed to enforce the law... But I also know that important people are given certain courtesies. I need to know what I should do because I have stopped a very important person."

The supervisor asked, "Is it the governor?"

The young trooper said, "No, he's more important than that."

The supervisor said, "Oh, so it's the president."

The young trooper said, "No, he's even more important than that."

The supervisor finally asked, "Well then, who is it?"

The young trooper said, "I think it's Jesus, because he's got Billy Graham for a chauffeur!"

Praying for a safe delivery on your new babe coming! that being said, after 4 ones of my own wings are part of my wardrobe hahahaha.

seriously.. tough to say.. I don't think anyone would make me freak out.. Frank Peretti or Susan May Warren would be on the top of my lists though for authors who would fluster me!

In seriousness, it's hard for me to say how I'd react to someone famous since I haven't really met anyone that would qualify. No one in particular comes to mind, but I'd probably be starstruck by pretty much anyone of note. Perhaps some Gollum juice like Andy Circus used would be good to have on hand, since my voice seems to be the first thing to go. Just ask the officer on I-90 :)

I generally don't get weirded out by personalities either. I think Billy Graham would probably send me in search of new boxers. lol

Maybe Peter Jackson too. I'm very fond of his LOTR movies, you know.

Btw, good luck with H3. I'm praying!

I've been nervous in the presence of some people, and then I've sat down and had lengthy conversations with folks I didn't know were supposed to make me nervous. I'm a little clueless that way.

I'd like to meet Mr. Lawhead someday, though, and a whole list of other writers. (But, alas, I shall not list them!) =0)

Christopher, you certainly know how to put a new spin on a question don't you?

In this case, I'm not answering 0:-)

I'm not really one to go gaga over stars either. Although I do get a little nervous around them. (But then I get nervous around my closest friends as well.)

Alright, I'm stalling in answering the question. Truth is, I don't really know. I was nervous before meeting Sir Wayne and Sir Bryan last year, and a little nervous about meeting you. But I wasn't quite THAT nervous.

Wish I could answer your question, it's not really something I've put a whole lot of thought into, in those terms at least. Though I can imagine I'd be pretty nervous meeting for example, a President.

I really want to read Mr. Lawhead's books. My friend Aaron is always telling me to read them. I believe my friend Jared is also constantly recommending them. The two before this one have just appeared in our new churches library so it looks like I'm going to have a chance! Yeah! I'm rereading through your books right now, but I think I'll read these books next. :-) I'm not doing the blog tour this month as I haven't read the book. (Not having read the previous ones.)
