SO TRUE!!! God has changed my mind when He used me to become a parent of His child. I swear He uses that to zone in on the main parts of our relationship with Him: Trust, Honesty, Obedience, Love and Sacrifice!!
Our Father always knows what we give to seek Him and what He does for us when we do, not only is He faithful, but timeless and true! I know from being a human parent, that my heavenly Father has NO limitations for His children, and I have to say, neither do I!!! It’s super natural if you know what I mean, I am so grateful for God wanting me to be a parent of His child!!!

Oh well, double the thanks!

It’s crazy to think that people still view God the Father as an angry, vengeful Judge after all the praise that Jesus gives Him. Jesus constantly talks about how He (Jesus) only does what His father does and He even says, “My father is better than all of you!” (Luke 11 para).
How can we say we know God’s heart when we don’t understand His intentions.

If your child was hit by a drunk driver, would you be angry at your child or the driver?
Or, better yet, have you seen the movie “Blood Diamond”? Think of the child in that movie and what his dad says to him at the end…Oh man, I’m breaking up over here!

God isn’t angry at us, but he will rain down death and destruction upon the powers of darkness for what they tried to do to his kids!

Anyway, that’s my opinion for the day…
(Don’t you just love God?!)

Wow. What a post. It truly is coming from a loving and caring dad. I now understand why my Dad is so ‘strict’. But he isn’t. its my teenage mind wanting to be a man. But what he’s really doing, is ‘loving’. You truly are a great dad, I’m sure your family is blessed.
