Mini Poster Giveaway

A week from tonight CHB will be performing at The Father’s House in Rochester, NY for the debut of “Heaven Meets Earth” (Nov 5). And in four days the CD will be available for sale in physical and digital internationally (Nov 2).

So to celebrate, I’m giving away a free 11″x8.5″ color poster signed by the band to first 100* people that help give the new CD a boost through social media promotions. To qualify, simply tell at least 10 (more welcome!) FaceBook friends or 10 Twitter followers about either the CD release concert November 5th (if they live in the greater NY area), and/or about the CD being for sale (physical/digital) through my website. Then email my personal assistant, Debbie [ debbie(at) newlifenny (dot) com ], with the list of names/users you notified, and include your mailing address. We’ll ship your poster out mid-November. *Limit one per individual.

Suddenly Profound

Most of my profound moments in life don’t come as a product of deep meditation, long prayer, or deliberate seeking after God. All those things are good and necessary. Jesus did them, and so should I. But most of my deep moments with God come as “suddenlies.” One moment I’m playing with my son Luik in the bushes, watching him hack down “monsters” with his sword…the next I’m realizing I wrote a story about him years before he was born doing the very same thing. ch:

Book Signings in Champaign, IL

This weekend I’m flying out to Illinois to meet up with the infamous Sir Wayne Thomas Batson for some sword-swinging frivolity, jovial antics, miscellaneous musicality, and general book-signing merriment. And all this for anyone willing to venture out to the Borders on West Town Blvd. in Champaign IL, Saturday, Oct. 16th, 2pm-5pm. For those that can’t make it, we’ll be streaming live here.

Earlier in the day we’ll be hosting a private party for the Nightwing Tribe, winners of our epic Tribebuilding contest held for Curse of the Spider King (and ongoing for Venom and Song). Can’t wait to spend some time with these awesome Elves! ch:

This is a special gift to those of you out there who are worship leaders–whether ushering your church into praise, or simply your goldfish–simply to say thanks. We hope these songs touch thousands of people around the world and assist in the process of uniting heaven and earth in practical ways during peoples’ day-to-day activities.
