November Update: Week 1

Lots to update you on–from authors to politics, church life to tour dates–so let’s dive in…

First off, I failed to mention the ever illustrious Bryan Davis on last week’s Post-FFT Blog Tour. The man is a prolific writer, amazing father, and passionate man of God. And not without his own mysteries: Like how a devote, conservative, homeschooling dad can write about dragons? (Say what?) You should ask him! Bryan’s incredible heart for young people (as displayed through his numerous hours spent online in his forum each week) and passion for the Gospel make him the most outspoken Christian Fantasy Apologist that I know! If you’re not familiar with his work, please visit his website and tell him I sent you.

Part of the delay was due to the fact that my home church, New Life Christian Church, is moving into our new building this week! This is a momentous occasion for us (to say the least!) as we’re vacating our 1836 limestone chapel for a renovated movie theater in the rapidly developing area of Watertown. The transformation has been nothing short of a miracle in itself, and the community of Believers that has pulled it off is simply astounding. I spent all last week painting the logo on a massive wall directly across from the waterfall (you heard me…waterfall), and my team is preparing to install the first phase of the audio and video systems tomorrow morning. Please keep us in prayer as we kick off this Sunday in our new home!

This week on the Post-FFT Blog Tour, we’re all featuring Mr. L.B. Graham. I had the privilege of meeting L.B. for the first time when we arrived in Abbotsford, BC at the start of the tour. Each one of the tour members is so unique, I was quite amazed at how so many different people from so many various backgrounds could survive ten days tunafished into a 15 passenger van! But L.B., apart from his brilliant mind, set us all at ease. As easy going as they come, I knew right away he was passionate about some of the same things I am. Like food (“It’s a Jack In The Box!”) and music (“Rockin’ the suburbs, baby!”). Of course he is well known as an author, too, but it’s nice to know that your writing hero’s are also people with many diverse tastes in music and food! To learn more about his Binding of The Blade series, please visit his site and, again, tell him I sent you.

Next on the agenda, I just want to give a shout out to all those who we’ll be worshiping with us this weekend at Saturate @ Elim in Lima, NY. We’ll be leading some worship alongside Isaiah 6, Adam McCain, Jude Fouquier, and Jeff Clark. As soon as that conference is done, we’ll be headed to Rochester and pick up with the November DIBOR Conference that will already be underway. So please keep us in prayer as it will be a long weekend, but hopefully very fruitful.

Lastly, I felt I should say something about tomorrow’s election given the fact that it’s an important subject and I’ve tried to make my blog something that addresses important subjects. And as I was thinking about all the things I could say, two things came to mind.

The first is that the President of the United States does not hold the country in the palm of his or her hand, although that’s the impression the media gives us (at last one thing that’s truly bipartisan!); nor is this the “most important election of our generation,” even though that’s been said during every election for the past 36 years (as reminded to us by my pastor in yesterday’s service); nor is this president going to fulfill any more “promises for change” than all the presidencies before (also as stated by all presidential candidates for the past 36 years). There is only one who holds the nations in the palm of his hand…and last I checked, he’s laughing (Psalm 2:4).

The point I would like you, my reader, to remember is that if there are any major catalysts for change in this country, it is not the politicians, although they certainly have had their day. It is not the media, even though they’ve picked up what we’ve dropped in most cases. It’s the Church. Whether she realizes it or not is irrelevant. The fact is we have been given the power and authority to be ambassadors for a different Kingdom, and it’s your birthright if you’re a Believer (2 Corinthians 5:20). We are seated with Christ in heavenly places and therefore have the distinct ability of having a different perspective on all matters of the earth, one that is uniquely divine (Ephesians 2:6). And one of the most holy things you can do as a Christian is to actually live among the world and influence them (1 Peter 2:9-12). If you think only “certain people” have power, it may be in part because you haven’t been exercising your own, realizing that you, dear brother and sister in Christ, have been called to influence the world around you just as Jesus did. In paraphrasing one of my favorite authors, Watchman Nee once wrote that we are not to be affected by our environment, but are called to affect our environment.

There is a call in the Spirit saying, “Church, rise up!” Will you respond?

Secondly, I’d like to submit something on the political level–this, my thesis for why I vote the way I do. It seems to me that there are three main cultures that comprise the human existence in our current day, at least for me up here in beautiful northern NY. Those are: Family, Church, Community. While I traverse the world as much as anyone of my contemporaries, I want to be as simple and realistic as I can, so I’m leaving “State, Country, World” out of this (sorry U.N.). But understand that I believe Communities are called to affect those last three cultures.

A Biblical study will show without question that I first have a commitment to the institution of marriage and those that are my kin, parental as well as children. Family is the building block of humanity. And remember, its God’s invention, not mine. He liked the covenant he fashioned between himself, Adam and Eve, and those after them. Next, I have a Biblical mandate to be an active part of the Body of Christ, not forsaking meeting together, nor teaching the tenants of the faith as well as the demonstration of the power of the Gospel which is life to those who are perishing. Lastly, I have a Biblical mandate to see to the well being of those in Community around me, to their needs and welfare. This Community also serves my personal command to work diligently and be fruitful. Since both Family and Church serve this end, the three are interlaced at their very core, such that interfering with one affects all the rest.

When examining those running for public office–those who represent me–the basis of my vote stems from my analysis of who is seeking to keep these three foundations of culture in the greatest health with the least amount of intrusion. Let me explain.

.: FAMILY :.

If someone is attacking the very essence of the covenant of marriage by trying to redefine it, I see them as a threat to the foundation of God’s idea, and thus undermining my first cultural commitment to Family. Likewise, if they are trying to justify taking the lives of unborn children, that too is a direct assault on the core right to life that God decided was a good idea. If the argument here is a lack of compassion, so be it; forgive me for not being compassionate enough to help all the “victims of abuse” to see their babies to life and health. That one I take on the chin. But do not endorse legislation that permits murder under the guise of compassion.

.: CHURCH :.

These same attacks on the Family also take their toll on the Church, my next cultural commitment. Here, they bring into question the very moral fiber of the belief system and seek to undermine what is being taught, as well as the teachers themselves, and the manual the teachings come from: The Bible. Of course this doesn’t even touch the fact that such “advances” placate enmity with God himself. But the assault on the Church goes further, in many cases picking up where she failed. Where she was to be caring for the needs of the Community, the government stepped in. In what I can only believe was a demonic plan, the Church abdicated her responsibility of the welfare of her Communities to politicians. That, my friends, is something I long to take back…I burn for it.

.: COMMUNITY :.

The Communities that form the furthest cultural ring around us are, among other things, meant to be sources of support and revenue, continual streams that feed the Families and the Churches to keep doing what they do. But when the businesses in those communities are taxed beyond their means, all in the name of “helping,” they begin to collapse. As a business owner myself, I could not be more intimately aware of this. And the fact that a far-off-and-distant ruling body somehow knows how my money should be spent not only belittles my stature as a human being by assuming that they know better, but removes my ability to invest myself into the lives of employees and Families alike. They, do it for me? The incentive to continue doing business is removed as well as the blessing I receive from giving.

So who do I vote for? I look for the people that stand behind God’s definition of Family, seeing such entities as the foundation of our nation; leaders that empower and inspire the Church to not only care for its Communities but reinforce the morals that she represents; and politicians that believe Communities and the businesses within them have strength to carry the burden’s of her people without their help.

For more good, thought provoking commentary on voting from a Christian world view, please read Wayne’s piece here.

Vote tomorrow!

It’s Wayne. Need I Say More?

I left the Eric Peters post up for a week now in the hopes that it would get a lot of prime face time on my site. If you haven’t read about his project, or taken the opportunity to invest in it, please do so right now.

As a post-Fantasy Fiction Tour followup idea we had–no one wanting the festivities of tour-life to end–we decided to take the next eight Mondays and feature each author on our websites. It is of course a little redundant, thinking that if you don’t know every one’s names by now then you must be a newbie to my site; but then again that’s the reason why I’m doing this. If you haven’t heard of Wayne, then allow me to introduce you.

Short of being an outstanding author with well over 100,000 books in print, Wayne Thomas Batson is also a husband, father, school teacher…and a devoted friend. I really can’t say enough about the guy without risking the error of flattery. But one thing is for sure–something I can say about each and every author on the Tour–that he’s the real deal. That’s important. Because if I could know for sure the quality of individual that pens the pages of the books my children read, that I would be much quicker to invest in them.

Authors, musicians, painters, poets and the like all create out of themselves. We are moved by our own life-experiences and allow them to breathe into our work. In the end, you are getting “life as interpreted by the artist.” So when you read Rise of The Dibor, you are getting a little bit of Christopher Hopper. When you read The Door Within, you are getting a little bit of Wayne Thomas Batson. I think that is one reason why people are so enamored with celebrities, especially actors. As film most dynamically connects an audience to the media (sight and sound), people feel as if they actually know the actors. Of course it’s very limited and superficial in most cases, but I believe their is still an impartation, if even on a spiritual level.

As personal practice, I always tend to consciously keep my guard up whenever I see a movie, aware of scenes and songs that try and compromise my integrity. Granted, I try and get as much foreknowledge as possible, but there are elements that even the sharpest critics won’t pick up because they are incidents that know one else would ever think of; they are proprietary to my life experiences.

So being able to actually know where an artist is coming from, what moves them, and what they think life should be like, is of paramount importance if you want to move beyond the shallowest of compliments, “I think it’s cool.” What are their core beliefs and what are you receiving when you receive their art into your life?

This, of course, is the long way around of telling you by what measure I judge art: not on the art alone, but on the artist as an individual. And Wayne would not be my friend if he did not have full marks. He is one of the most caring and kind souls I have ever met (despite his ferocity with a long sword), and that translates into love for his wife, his children, and the students he pours his life out for everyday. He truly has a tender heart and huge dose of creativity, two things I admire greatly.

Lastly, his devotion to the Lord is humbling. Quick to say he doesn’t “get it all,” and easy with sharing his faults, Wayne is 24 carat in his faith. No pretenses. No guile. He is a broken man in need of a Mighty God, something that the Lord obviously cherishes. For when we are weak, He is strong, and a broken and contrite spirit God will not despise.

If nothing else, you have to at least love his pirate costume!

Thanks for being my friend, Sir Wayne. Never alone…

Back In NY

Jennifer and I just arrived back in NY after many hours aloft. It feels good to be back on the east coast, although we have many new and wonderful memories forged out of an incredibly unique tour down the west coast. Things finished off with much hooting and hollering at Barnes & Noble in San Diego around 4:01pm PT. From there we had a group meal at Islands (Yaki Tacos are num nums!) and reminisced about the week. There was much laughter had by all.

The following few hours were a slew of hugs and even some tears as we all said goodbye, a divine melancholy falling over everyone. Although each one of us was eager to get back to family and routine, it dawned on me that we had done the very thing we all write about: join together on an epic adventure to bring Truth and advance God’s Kingdom. And what a tale it is…

We’ll be working on the remaining few days of Video Journals this week and post them shortly. Between the succession of bad internet connections and little time to edit video, we have been behind on production.

A big thank you to Pam Schwagerl at Tsaba House for her amazing dedication to this tour and putting the schedule together, as well as to Gregg Wooding for his amazing talents in promoting us. Also to my tour mates: Donita K. Paul, Eric Reinhold, Jonthan Rogers, L.B. Graham, and the originals, Wayne Thomas Batson, Bryan Davis and Sharon Hinck. I consider them all family…adventure-mates of the grandest sort. And a big shout out to Amanda and Penny who went above and beyond the call of duty when it came to “the miscellaneous” tasks of the tour. I’d also like to thank all of the publishers that we represent who so generously invested into the financial backing and promotion of this tour, as well as our amazing sponsors, RealArmorofGod.com, Hotel Burgess, and Character 4 Kids.

I’ll be posting more pictures as we process them; Jennifer shot well over 1,000 with some spectacular scenes of God’s creation I can’t wait for you to see.

Last, but certainly not least, I must thank all of you who came out and supported us on the road. The fans! Where would we be without you? Books are meant to be read, so if you weren’t reading them, not only would we not have had anyone at our events, but we wouldn’t even be writing. So thank you, thank you, thank you. The countless words of encouragement I received from teens who were inspired, moms who were grateful, dads who were provoked to talk to their sons, children who were awed…these are what we live for. You are why we write. That Christ might live in you, the Hope of Glory.

Video Journal – Day 2 – 10.05.08 – Portland, Oregon

On our Oregon stop, we started off with a rainy, impromptu gathering under a gazebo in Portland and finished with a bang at Medford’s mall. A huge crowd gathered for the signing put on by Evangel Family Bookstore and were treated to, among other things, a reading by Jonathan Rogers and a humorous dual between myself & Sir Wayne! Enjoy!

(The fun and funky Portuguese/Brazilian music is in honor of Nathan Reimer).

FFT Video Journals

Hey gang! Check out the first two video journals we just put up for the tour (below). The events have been fantastic! We’ve met hundreds of people already and have been completely overwhelmed by everyone’s excitement for this incredible tour. Just finished two events in Sacramento today and I have a live TV interview tomorrow morning with Donita K. Paul in Fresno. Keep us all in your prayers!

Video Journal – Kick Off – 10.03.08 – Abbotsford, BC
The tour kicks off at an amazing event in Abbotsford, BC.

Video Journal – Day 1 – 10.04.08 – Seattle, WA
The authors storm Seattle, WA signing books, swinging swords, and even causing a car accident!

Wiley Middle & FFT Costume Prep

This week I had the amazing privilege to speak at Wiley Middle School in Watertown to over 300 5th graders yesterday morning and over 300 6th graders this morning. What a blast! The subject was bullying, and how to confront them and then make them your friends. All bullies, after all, are in need of real friends because inside they are insecure, unstable, and afraid…they just act tough on the outside. We talked about standing together, sticking up for your friends, and even delved into the amazing world of what I call “crazy kindness” which is doing kind things for bullies, like buying them lunch or inviting them to your family’s house for dinner…ya’ know, stuff that really freaks bullies out.

I also had a lot of help from the DIBOR Step Team, and three stories from our DIBOR Disciples as well: one was a skit by Chrystelle, one was a story from Joe who experienced being thrown in a trash can, and Melinda who once was a bully! It was a very rich experience and we really felt like we connected with the kids and the teachers. God is continuing to open amazing doors for us here in northern NY, especially in the public school system.

The last bit of music news has to do with our gig in Jamestown, NY with JumpStart Generation tomorrow night at 7:00pm which we’re leaving for right after worship at 33 Live tonight. If you live in that area, please come on out and worship the Lord with us as we partner with the local area churches, Out of The Box Ministries, and Ron Hutchcraft Ministries.

And first thing Friday morning, Jennifer and I will be flying out to Seattle to join seven other authors and ground crew to embark upon the highly anticipated Fantasy Fiction Tour 2008 West Coast! If you haven’t check out the website lately, please do. I’m really looking forward to meeting all our fans in Washington, Oregon and California, and stoked to be traveling with all my author pals. We’ll be doing presentations at book stores, public and private schools, even a few TV and newspaper interviews, including an exclusive interview with TBN! We’ll also be streaming each event live onto the website, three times a day via Mogulus onto our Watch Live! page. You can even send us instant messages and ask questions that we’ll answer live! And when we’re not airing something live, you can watch re-runs of the tour’s daily video journals, so please travel along with us! This last picture is of me trying on my tour outfit. All our medieval swords and various pieces of garb and armor have once again been graciously provided by John Cooper over at Real Armor of God (.com). Please pay them a visit here and purchase something for the sword lover you know!

Thanks for reading, for all your prayers and encouragement, and for following along with us on this next tour!

FFT Group Fiction Announced!

Hey gang…

Well, we’re back from Europe and almost caught up on our sleep (but don’t ask me out for lunch in the afternoons…I might fall asleep in my soup). Needless to say the trip was incredible. Teaching 6-7 hours each day at EDEN, a city-wide outreach concert in Longwy (requested by the Mayor!), and preaching at the Radikal for Jesus international youth conference made for a phenomenal experience. Jennifer and I felt very "used" by the Lord–a term with a negative connotation to the world, but a coveted connotation to the Christian. Luik was a real trooper and brought us much joy. He’s a real clown.

Many thanks to all of you who left comments, phoned us, and emailed us after the news of the miscarriage. It was so touching. Jennifer is doing very well and the Lord has been healing both of our hearts. It’s something we’ve never been through before and the grief seems to come in waves. However the waves are getting further apart and less intense. We are left with a peace and assurance that we will meet our daughter one day and have a pizza party together. (I’m sure she’ll like pizza as much as her daddy does. Sushi, too).

The news of the day is a very cool thing the authors are doing over at the Fantasy Fiction Tour website. We thought it would be fun not only to go on an adventure together down the West Coast, but–since we are authors after all–to write an adventure together! Thus we are writing a piece of group fiction collectively on the website. We welcome your comments and hope you’ll join the festivities!

Thanks again for checking in on us and supporting us during our tour overseas. We’re happy to be back and look forward to the month of August.

Enjoy the story!

Book News

Just wanted to give everyone some quick book related news.

First off, if you’ve been following my Book III Word Counter to the right, you’ll notice I’m officially over my set goal of 100,000 words! Yeah–feels pretty good. That’s a lot of hours. This comes after a long break of not writing followed by a massive push inspired by numerous friends and many fans. I’m about two chapters away from completing the book at which point it will go off for cleaning to my Bookies and then to the publisher for final editing and internal design.

Secondly, I was just informed that The Lion Vrie has been nominated for the Pluto Award over at Yellow30scifi. I feel very fortunate to be one of the nominations as the Pluto Award is unlike any of the regular awards out there. The publisher or author cannot nominate it. Only the reviewers from Yellow30scifi submit the nominations so, it’s a real big honor that both Rise of The Dibor (last year) was nominated and Lion Vrie this year!

Lastly, for those of you wishing to meet some of the new authors on this fall’s Fantasy Fiction Tour, make sure to head on over to the website and read up on our new cast of characters. Everyone is taking turns posting bios, interviews, and answering peoples’ comments.

CSFF: Day 1 – Kathryn Mackel Interview PART I

Being on the Christian Science Fiction & Fantasy Blog Tour is much like being an author.

[cricket--cricket]

OK. Explanation:

When I *became* an author (I really should say “a published writer”), something amazing happened: I started meeting other people who wrote books, many of them my heroes. Somehow having a printed and bound edition sitting in a Barnes & Nobel brings credibility to your otherwise quite common love for writing. Admittedly, there are far better writers out there with much grander ideas. But as I frequently say to wanna’ be authors, “The only difference you and me is that I already wrote my book.”

In the course of these past two years I feel as though I’ve joined a club. An exclusive writers club. For professionals. (How did I get in?). And a club, honestly, that I feel incredibly fortunate and far from worthy to be in. It has provided me the opportunity to rub elbows (always a funny expression) with some extraordinary people. This fall, for example, I’m embarking on the second Fantasy Fiction Tour along the West Coast. Four more authors have been added to the line up including Donita K. Paul, a woman who, for all intents and purposes, has been nothing short of the Momma of Christian Fantasy. A true pioneer.

The point: The simple fact that I’ve endured the hundreds of hours of writing, drafting, editing and promoting a manuscript that a legitimate publisher deemed print worthy has given me access to some wonderful news friends. In this regard, CSFF is extremely similar–with the exception that it’s far easier. ;)

Rebecca Miller, the brain behind CSFF, started the tour in the hopes of giving a new voice to the Christian Science Fiction and Fantasy genres. By encouraging an online community of people to spread the word about authors and books, she has engineered a club of enthusiastic people willing to do some great grassroots marketing. (And we love her for it!). One of the benefits is–you guessed it–getting to meet (or at least email) many of the wonderful authors the tour highlights.

Kathryn Mackel is no exception.

Kathryn is a true writer, producing and editing a vast body of work. And if not for the tour, I’d have no real reason to email her (other than as an adoring fan), nor the means to be introduced to her. But thanks to CSFF, not only are her books within easy reach, but so is her ear (if we remain kind, courteous and to the point). Rather than hording email to myself, I decided that this month, since she made herself available, I’d request an interview.

She said yes.

(Yankees) And even though she is a Red Sox fan (Yankees), I decided the (Yankees) interview was worth posting (Yankees) on my (Yankees) site.

(Yankees).

I’m breaking it up over the next three days. Today’s portion is mostly about her present work, Vanished, the reasoning behind it and influences. Tomorrow, knowing I have a bunch of writers who read here (thank you!), I’ll be posting the portion about her own trade skills and thoughts on the craft, and Wednesday we’ll wrap up with some more personal questions. And while you’re waiting, you can visit her website to learn more about her work, and then stop by her blog to learn more about, well, her!

Thanks again for stopping by. And please make sure to check out what the other bloggers on the tour have to say by clicking on their links at the bottom of this post.

Oh yeah, and just in case she swings by and is reading this, feel free to ask her any questions by leaving a comment!

Interview with Kathryn Mackel - Part 1

CH: Thanks for joining me on my blog, Kathryn. It’s a pleasure to have you on the CSFF Blog Tour, and I know there are a number of people who will be very interested in your books.

First off, you have a new book out called Vanished. For those that aren’t familiar with your writings, you pioneered the term “Christian Chillers,” and Vanished seems to be no exception. Where did this love for creeping Christians out come from?

KM: I love suspense thrillers. My plan was to hop into Brandilyn Collins’ or Ted Dekker’s footsteps but the editor at my first Christian publisher (Thomas Nelson) wanted something with a bit of the X-Files feel to it. I’ve often complained that in secular horror you get the supernatural without the One who is the creator of all. Christian Chillers are an opportunity to say “hey, yes, there is an unseen world AND the Almighty Father is Lord of what we can see and can’t.

CH: Concerning Vanished, the concept is pretty scary and hits home for a lot of people; a bomb going off right here on our own soil (not to mention some supernatural dealings). It seems we’re surrounded by terrorism and reports of terrorism today. How much have past events here in the US and abroad influenced your premise and perspective for Vanished?

KM: I think September 11th was a wake-up call for all of us. Combine terrorist events with natural disasters, such as Katrina or the recent earthquake in China, and we have to understand that, any second, our world can be shaken. We Christians like to hope we’re prepared for the last trumpet call and the clouds to open, but are we prepared to help our next-door neighbor or elderly couple down the street? If the power is off for a few days, or if we’re inundated with three feet of snow or children are separated for parents, are we prepared to offer help—and hope?

CH: Vanished obviously isn’t your first work. How does it rank in “the favorite books I’ve written” list? What qualities really make it stand out to you as an author?

KM: I’ll take the usual author dodge and say my favorite is the one I just finished. (Which is BOOST, a secular YA coming out from Dial Books in September.) But I am very fond of Vanished and very invested in my characters. I know where they are, and I know how they’ll escape from where they are. I can’t wait to hear guesses from my readers!

What challenged me in the writing of Vanished was keeping various story lines going, getting to really know characters and yet push a book through only a few short and desperate hours. What intrigued me was the exploration of regular people—like the cop on the beat—as they react to extraordinary events. My cop Sergeant Logan has been seeking God for some time when the story opens but, in the aftermath of the bomb, as he’s saving lives and chasing the terrorist, he comes to understand he can’t do it all-can’t do anything, really—on his own strength.

CH: What was it that first inspired you to start writing? How long has this been a desire of yours? Was it an overnights success story or did you have to “pay your dues” and wait a long while before seeing your first book on a shelf?

KM: I was always a good communicator and am a trained technical writer. But I didn’t write any fiction beyond church plays because I just assumed I couldn’t. I loved to make up stories in my head long past it’s appropriate—unless one is a writer. I used to think, “If I were a writer, I’d be writing.” Turns out, being left-handed and HATING to write by hand had something to do with my not writing. Two things got me started in fiction. The first was the advent of computers, and the second was taking my first fiction-writing course at the tender age of 41.

In one sense, I was an overnight success story because I sold the first book I ever wrote and the fourth screenplay. But…there was a lot of dues-paying in terms of just living life, growing in Christ (He pays those dues!), and learning to be a professional.

[Catch Part 2 tomorrow!]

Fantasy Fiction Tour hits the WEST COAST in 2008

Hey’a gang!

It is with great pleasure that I get to announce the long-awaited sequel to last year’s ground-breaking Fantasy Fiction Tour, this year hitting the West Coast October 4th thru 12th.

Most of my readers will remember last year’s exciting journey starting in Atlanta and ending in Manhattan. Well, it made such a stir in the industry that we decided to do it all again…but bigger!

Four additional authors have been added to last year’s lineup: Donita K. Paul, L.B. Graham, Jonathan Rogers and Eric Reinhold. You can read all about them on our Meet The Authors page, and peruse their wide selection of Books.

The FFT website just got a massive overhaul thanks to Jason Clement, and we’ll be issuing HTML banner ads very soon for you to put up on your websites and blogs to help us promote the tour.

And like last year, we’ll be doing the Daily Video Journal during the tour itself where you can follow along with us. And if you missed last year’s Video Journals-–no worries-–you can watch the entire collection in the 2007 Video Journal Library.

I suggest you read the entire Press Release, too, as it has a good accounting of last year’s success and what to look forward to this year.

To all those out on the West Coast, I look forward to meeting you!

Thanks for reading,

CH
