Hornstinger

Venomous flying insect

A type of venomous flying insect. A hornstinger is found on several of the drier planets and known for the two horn-like spikes that protrude from each side of its head. When stabbing prey or an enemy, the insect injects venom through its horns, paralyzing its victims. Non-lethal to human and most alien specia, but will leave a welt accompanied by itching and burning.
