Security forces

Suparia-class security forces employed by high born families on each planet. Members are hand-selected from both the Stratus and local vigilum. Their ranks in descending order are: guardian primus (organizational head of family security); section optio (one for each family division as needed); and laygalla (individual security forces in ranks from highest to lowest, 1st to 99th). Each senior high-family member has a personal bodyguard known as a murus (or wall) who is ranked above the guardian primus during field action.
