Imperium citizens use a number of hand signs to greet one another. Each has special significance and easily designates a person's alliances and intentions.

The Hand gesture of Mercenary Guild Chapter 4: Pin the left-hand ring finger against the palm with the thumb and raise the remaining three fingers with the palm facing inward. From the presenter’s palm side, the digits make a V and an I that stand for Vindictora, while for the viewer’s backhand side, the digits IV add up to four for Mercenary Guild Chapter Four. The gesture is used to inform the dying about who killed them while reminding the mercenary of their victory.
