The Imperium military. Also the name of the largest troop unit equaling 2,880 warriors composed of six cohorts. The Stratus exists to maintain law and order, quell unrest and uprisings (excreants, pirates, etc), and defend against Chaosic attacks. It also contains the Squadra navy, both wet- and space-based.
