The worlds of
Christopher Hopper
Science fiction, fantasy, and steampunk
Enter the cosmos × Ruins of the Earth When a MARSOC Marine nearing retirement is sent to guard researchers in Antarctica, a ten-thousand-year-old secret tears open a portal and unleashes an alien force on humanity. A breakneck seven-book military sci-fi war for survival, co-written with J.N. Chaney.
An action-packed military sci-fi thriller… character driven, with great world building. Goodreads
Ruins of the Galaxy A routine escort to an intergalactic peace summit goes catastrophically wrong, marking Lieutenant Magnus for death. Nine books of gritty ground combat, interstellar politics, and universe-shaking revelations. Military space opera co-written with J.N. Chaney.
Funny, gritty, engaging, and full of wonderful sci-fi. Goodreads
Resonant Son Ex-cop Flint Reed is the only thing standing between a terrorist cell and its hostages. Then a Die Hard siege escalates into a galaxy-spanning hunt for ancient alien artifacts. Co-written with J.N. Chaney.
Imperium Descent In a sector the Imperium has ruled for four thousand years, a disgraced mercenary haunted by a life he can't recall and a royal heir out of her depth are pulled toward a collision that could reshape everything. A five-volume space opera.
One of the only sci-fi books I can honestly say completely took over my life within the first chapter. Goodreads
Infinita In 2251, humanity's greatest habitat orbits a scarred Earth. Then an eco-terror plot, an impossible murder, and a signal from beyond converge in one catastrophic night. A hard-SF thriller trilogy compared to The Expanse.
Picture-perfect world-building along with relatable characters. Goodreads
Adaptives People wake in a featureless room as one wall rises to reveal an alien monster and a fight to the death. A Marine and a farm girl are forced through ever-deadlier rounds of a game built by something beyond human understanding. Think Hunger Games by way of Saw.
Berinfell Prophecies Seven elven lords, heirs to a besieged kingdom, were hidden on Earth as infants. Now, at thirteen, their powers are waking as the Spider King's minions close in. A YA epic fantasy co-written with Wayne Thomas Batson.
Should be in the same awesome category as The Lord of the Rings and Narnia. Goodreads
White Lion Chronicles In Dionia, a world built as a Creation untouched by the Fall, young Luik is called to join an elite warrior order as an ancient evil corrupts paradise from within. A sweeping allegorical fantasy of spiritual warfare and epic battle.
The world-building was fantastic! Mr. Hopper made me believe it was really happening. Goodreads
Rivendrift College freshman Riley Moore stumbles into Rivendrift, a progression-fantasy world with its own skill system, unfamiliar races, and a very persistent talking rabbit. Here, the rumor goes, dying in the dream means dying for real.
Christopher Hopper's first book of this genre, and he gets it spot on! Goodreads
Sky Riders Above the cloud-floor of Aria-Prime, the only rule is don't fall. A first-year Sky Rider apprentice and a band of outcast Inventors uncover a conspiracy threatening their entire floating civilization. A steampunk adventure in a vividly original sky-faring world.
A world that is truly unique… yet the characters' emotions are so relatable. Goodreads
